Graduation Instructions 2018

Dear Mustang Families and Friends,

We are excited to announce that 2018 CMHS Graduation will be held Thursday, June 21, again at our very own MUSTANGS Field. It is our hope that Graduation 2018 will be a day to remember! Here are a few things you should know:

Schedule for Wednesday, June 20

  • Students need to arrive at Mustangs Field by 8am. Students will receive their specific seating assignments at this time.

  • From 8-10am we will conduct graduation practice

  • Seniors will be given their 10 tickets after practice today

  • Additional tickets are available for purchase. Please bring $5 cash per ticket

  • The ASB Office will also be open after 12pm-3pm only for additional tickets.

  • Seniors must park  in the student parking lot and walk to the field. The Enclave parking lot and the front staff lot will NOT be open!

Schedule for Thursday, June 21

Students must report to the end zone of Mustangs Field lot by 12:45pm. They should come wearing their gown, cap and any stoles the have received. Students may NOT have phones, keys, or anything else. If they bring them, they will have to check them in and will be held up leaving until we conclude the ceremony . SUNGLASSES WILL BE ALLOWED THIS YEAR

  • Graduation  will begin promptly at 1:30 p.m. I anticipate graduation ending right about 2:30pm.  Family members will NOT be allowed on the field.

  • Graduates will be exciting the Davis School gate and will walk along Arlington to reunite with family in the Middle School Enclave parking lot, please plan on meeting your graduate there.

  • To provide a positive experience for everyone, no one will be allowed to bring balloons, signs or noisemakers into the stadium.

  • The OC Fairgrounds will be open for FREE parking and we are encouraging families to park in the lot off of Arlington

  • Gates will open at 12:30pm. Seating will be on a first come, first served basis so please plan on arriving on time

  • All attendees should leave ample time for traffic and parking

     Please keep in mind

  • Our graduation ceremony requires a lot of standing before some walking. High heels are discouraged. Stiletto heels will damage the field and will not be allowed. We are suggesting that flats be worn

  • Students may not have anything with them on the field. Cell phones, keys and other items should be left at home for graduation.

  • Graduates will not be allowed to leave the field once they are checked in, please use restroom prior to arrival

  • Balloons block the view of people sitting around you and will not be allowed in the stadium.

Thank you,

Carey Delzer (

Director of Student Activities
