  Don't have time to stop at Stater Bros for birthday balloons? No worries! Help say Happy Birthday to that Special Friend, Person, Teacher or Sibling by swinging by ASB. We will put together a great 6 balloon bouquet for $8! Can't beat that!

Hello!

 

There are many opportunities to volunteer during the month of November!  Seniors, you should be finishing up your 40 hours.

 

Here are a few opportunities that are coming up:

 

 

On Sunday, November 5th the NFL FLAG FOOTBALL REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS and the LOS ANGELES CHARGERS need your help in volunteering from 8:30 am—5:00 pm at Jack R Hammett Sports Complex (farm fields), 2750 Fairview Rd. Volunteers are needed to help with scorekeeping, score running and scoreboards. Lunch is being provided. They will be providing a t-shirt, but dress accordingly to weather.  Please, sign-up in the Community Service Office.

 

On Saturday, November 11 there will be a NEIGHBORHOOD COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP from 8:30 am—12:00 pm. Come help the City of Costa Mesa with a community clean-up. They will be cleaning-up the Coolidge Ave. & Fillmore Way neighborhood. For more information please contact Rene Macias 714-754-5168 or Heidi Jacinto 714-754-5648.

 

On Saturday, November 11 the SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA DULCIMER HERITAGE FESTIVAL will be needing volunteers from 7:00 am—9:00 pm. It will be held at the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant.   They need help with set-up, greeters, registration help, food service, clean-up and other duties, etc. To sign-up for shifts, please go to the Community Service Office.

 

Saturday, November 18 is HEARTS & HANDS COMMUNITY SERVICE DAY from 9:00 am—3:00 pm. The location is 801 Dover Drive, Newport Beach. The 2017 theme is "What are you made of?" Serve by taking part in any of over 15 hands-on projects that benefit local and worldwide service agencies seeking to relieve pain and suffering from wherever it is found. CPR classes are also being offered. There will be a blood drive. To sign up visit www.justserve.org. For more information please see Mrs. Hatch in the Community Service office.
