Dr. John W. Nicoll Scholarship

The NMAA/John W. Nicoll Scholarship for Future Teachers was

established in Dr. Nicoll’s name when he retired from the

Newport-Mesa Unified School District after serving as Superintendent

for 26 years. Dr. Nicoll was a professor at National University in the

Educational Leadership program training school administrators. He

took great pride in meeting every student who was selected to receive

this award. Dr. Nicoll passed away in the fall of 2005 and NMAA is

proud and honored to continue this tradition in his name.

This scholarship award is for $5000 and it is due by April 24.  Please come to the counseling office to get an application.

Because of his service and commitment to his country, many of Roger's friends and relatives have established and funded this annual scholarship. This scholarship will award a senior student(s) an amount between $500 and $1000.

There are no set requirements.  Please come to the counseling office to get an application.  This scholarship will be due April 12.
